Did this one a few months back and never shared it anywhere, ultimatly wound up being the only thing I painted this year. A litle sad about that but no way to change it now, can only try to do a bit more in the coming year. Was a real feeling of childlike whimsy making this, just stamping shapes all over the place. Many of the Pattern Text Pattern pieces were so ridged to make, trying to keep everything looking straight and in order, it was nice to let loose. Definitely want to work on being looser in 2026. So much of what I do is within lines or adheres to a grid and I've always been a little scared to move outside of it. Is what I do still aesthetically interesting without these bounds is something want to be asking more next year. For now enjoy the ravens.
